Do I need to make an appointment?

No, however appointments take priority over walk ins and can get you in and out quicker. You can schedule an appointment by calling (215) 239-0753, texting (215)-954-8148 or scheduling an appointment online.

How much will this appointment cost?

We’ve got you! All of our services are free of charge 

What if I don’t have a ride? (Do you provide transportation?)

Talk to one of our staff members who will work with you to set up transportation to and from the center. 

Do I need my parents to make the appointment?

No, you do need your parents to make the appointment.

What do I have to bring with me?

Please bring a photo identification with you to your appointment.

Can I bring someone to support me?

Yes, you can bring one support person with you to your appointment. You can also bring your children. 

Why do I need an ultrasound?

A limited obstetrical ultrasound confirms the presence of a pregnancy, rules out an ectopic pregnancy, confirms the viability of the pregnancy and cardiac activity and estimates the gestational age (number of weeks). 

Will anyone find out about my appointment? Or Is my appointment confidential?

Your visit and any information you share with us is completely confidential. We will not share any personal information about you or your visit with anyone outside of our organization.

How long does an appointment typically last?

Please allow up 90 minutes for your appointment. 

Do I need insurance?

No. We do not require proof of health insurance.

The Community Women’s Centers offer free pregnancy tests administered in a safe, caring, and private setting by our team of highly skilled staff members who are dedicated to meeting your needs.
